US ambassador Haley: The United Nation’s attitude toward Israel is beginning to change

US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley declared that “the United States would no longer be silent” in the face of unfair attacks by the United Nations against Israel, as Washington under the Trump administration will stand up for America’s friends, while referring to the Jewish state as America’s best friend in the Middle East. In an address to the World Jewish Congress in New York, Haley stressed that the UN must cease its hypocrisy in singling out Israel, and must recognize that the true source of instability in the Middle East is the Islamic Republic of Iran.

That said, Haley noted that the world body’s attitude toward Israel was beginning to change. Ambassador Haley asserted that the United Nations has now realized that Israel was not a threat on which they needed to focus, but rather the focus should be directed at other issues like Iran and its Lebanese proxy Hezbollah.
