A Palestinian assailant stabbed a Jewish settler in the southern Mount Hebron area, after which the settler reportedly opened fire on the attacker and managed to kill him. A preliminary police investigation found that “the terrorist entered an Israeli farm located next to the Jewish settlement of Teneh Omarim. After the settler heard noises coming from the outside, he exited his house and noticed the Palestinian terrorist holding two knives. The settler then ran home to retrieve a gun, with the terrorist in hot pursuit. Both men reached the house, where the terrorist proceeded to stab the Jewish settler in front of his wife and children, wounding him in light condition. The settler then managed to shoot and kill the terrorist.”
