Terror continues to plague Israel’s southern region.
Dozens of incendiary and explosive devices attached to clusters of balloons were sent sailing from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory over the weekend, sparking numerous blazes in agricultural fields and wild forests.
Sporadic explosions were reported in several locations including populated communities, but there were no reported injuries.
The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit informed TV7 that in response to the ongoing attacks from the Palestinian enclave, Israeli “tanks struck military posts belonging to the Hamas terror organization in the southern Gaza Strip.”
While the targets were completely destroyed, Gazan sources confirmed to TV7 that no militant casualties were reported.
