King Abdullah of Jordan stressed that even after what he termed as “the embassy crisis” and the American decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, it was possible to move forward on formulating a diplomatic solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict — if the parties showed goodwill.
The Jordanian king further noted that he preferred to see the full half of the glass in the ties with Israel, and to remain optimistic with regard to the decades old Israeli-Arab-conflict that “must be resolved.”
