The Israeli air-force has reportedly conducted an aerial strike on an “industrial zone” northeast of the Syrian city of Aleppo. According to the Syrian state news agency SANA, Israeli fighter-jets have launched a number of missiles overnight, targeting “sites” in the industrial area of Sheikh Najjar.
A Syrian military source was quoted as claiming that “air-defense batteries managed to intercept a number of the incoming missiles.” While damage was caused to the referred to targets, no injuries were reported in the alleged Israeli attack.
The IDF spokesperson’s unit said in response to TV7’s request for comment, that it does not discuss foreign reports on alleged military operations.
