The IDF Spokesperson’s unit announced the start of an international military exercise between the Israeli Air Force and U.S. military.
According to its statement “an increased level of F-35 fighter jet traffic will be felt” for the duration of the joint exercise, which began this afternoon.
With regard to concerns over the spreading of coronavirus, the Israeli military highlighted that “the exercise will be conducted only in the air and no meetings will be held on (the) ground.”
It further emphasized that “The exercise was planned in advance as part of the IDF’s scheduled exercises in 2020, with the aim of improving force capabilities and readiness.”
The drill is expected to end on Thursday afternoon.
