Islamist-Palestinians launched yet another rocket from the Gaza Strip toward the southern communities of the Jewish State last night, along-side dozens of balloons’ rigged with explosives that were sent sailing into Israeli territory.
The IDF Home Front Command activated an alert of the incoming projectile via its phone application as opposed to sounding air raid sirens, as it landed in an open field of the Sha’ar HaNegev Regional Council, causing no injuries or damage.
The continued Palestinian rocket fire and “balloon terrorism” came just hours after the Fatah-affiliated Al-Quds paper reported Hamas would cease such attacks on Israeli civilians in return for additional aid for residents in Gaza.
While the IDF did not immediately retaliate for the resumption of violence, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “We are preparing a once-in-a-lifetime surprise for Hamas.” During an exclusive interview with Israel’s Channel 20, the Premier warned that if the Gaza-rulers “don’t get their act together” regarding rocket and balloon attacks, “it is just a matter of time until we unleash our ‘surprise’ on them.”
The Israeli leader declined to disclose what such an action would be, saying only that is was unlike all other preceding measures.
