Four rockets were fired from Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula last night at the southern Israeli city of Eilat. Three of the rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome anti-missile defense System, while the fourth exploded in an open area. No injuries or damage were reported. The Islamic State’s Sinai branch called Willayat Sinai claimed responsibility for the attack, as the Islamist organization declared on social media “war on Israel.” A senior defense official told TV7 that Israel reserves the right to respond to any hostilities toward Its territory and residents, and will do so at the time and place of its choosing.
