Footage released by the Islamic State, purported to show aftermath of the US-led aerial campaign on a village near the extreme-Muslim group’s de-facto capital in Syria, the city of Raqqa. The aerial campaign purported in the video, is part of the coalition’s aerial support of the Syrian Democratic Forces advance on the city of Raqqa. The alliance, which includes the Syrian Kurdish YPG militia and some Arab groups, is raising tension between the United States and Turkey, as Ankara says the Kurdish group is part of the internationally recognized terror organization, the PKK.
