For the fourth time this month, Iranian installations in Syria were targeted by unidentified aircraft in an attack the Damascus regime again quickly attributed to Israel.
At approximately 1:30 AM, numerous precision guided missiles appeared over the skies of Aleppo Governorate with a pinpointed trajectory toward the Scientific Studies and Research Center (SSRC) in Al-Safira southeast of Aleppo city.
The Syrian Armed Forces deployed aerial defense batteries which successfully intercepted several of the incoming missiles, according to reports TV7 has been unable to corroborate.
That same location is known to host numerous Iranian-proxy sites and been subject to previous attacks. According to Western intelligence sources, so-called “‘statistical missiles’ are being converted into precious guided munitions” among other military-related activities at the SSRC. There have been no immediate reports on the scope of damage incurred by the latest overnight attack.
Even though Syria has accused the Israeli Air Force of responsibility, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit has neither confirmed nor denied involvement for the strike in response to TV7’s request for comment.
