An IDF soldier sustained moderate injuries last night from shots fired next to Joseph’s Tomb, which is located in the West Bank city of Nablus. The soldier was transported to the Beilinson medical center, after which medical officials defined his condition as stable. The complete details of the incident are still being investigated by the IDF.
The clashes at the scene began when security forces escorted six buses of Jewish ultra-orthodox worshipers who entered Joseph’s Tomb, which is located in the Palestinian city of Nablus. The forces were attacked with stones and firebombs, to which they responded with crowd-control measures. The IDF noted that the worshipers’ entry to the tomb took place as planned.
