Palestinians in Gaza launched a rocket towards Israel’s southern communities last night, causing air raid sirens to blast in Be’eri and Alumim located west of the Islamist-infested territory.
The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit confirmed that one projectile was fired from the Hamas-controlled territory at civilian population centers in the Jewish state, but stopped short of specifying the type of weaponry that was used. An Iron Dome surface-to-air anti-missile defense battery responded to the incoming rocket, and no injuries or damage were reported. IDF aircraft and a tank conducted retaliatory strikes, targeting two Hamas military posts in the northern sector of the lawless Palestinian enclave. While the installations were completely destroyed, there were also no reports of Palestinian casualties. Hamas has not immediately responded to TV7’s request for comment.
