Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah has declared that if Israel attacks Lebanon, the powerful Iranian-backed militia will use all of its power to retaliate with all means necessary.
In a televised address from an undisclosed bunker, the Hezbollah Secretary General emphasized that when it comes to defending Lebanon, “there are absolutely no red lines.”
Despite the downing of an Israeli drone by the Shi’ite force earlier this week, both it and the IDF have lowered the their respective levels of alert along the Israeli-Lebanese border. Sources belonging to the two sides indicated to TV7 in separate statements that the heightened tensions are gradually easing. The Israeli military has nevertheless not scaled back its surface-to-air batteries, due to Jerusalem’s ongoing concerns over Iran’s determination to fire rockets from Syria at the Jewish State.
